A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to a written agreement concerning a projectile discharged |
|
|
from a firearm that travels across a property line; amending a |
|
|
provision subject to a criminal penalty. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 62.0121(d), Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) The written agreement required under Subsection (c)(2) |
|
|
must: |
|
|
(1) contain the name, telephone number, and mailing |
|
|
address of the person allowed to hunt or engage in recreational |
|
|
shooting in a manner described by Subsection (b); |
|
|
(2) identify the property on either side of the |
|
|
property line crossed by the projectile; and |
|
|
(3) be signed by any person who owns the property on |
|
|
either side of the line crossed by the projectile. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
