SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 632
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize ExxonMobil Baytown on the occasion of the
  ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Lubes Expansion Project, which
  is taking place April 28, 2015; and
 
         WHEREAS, ExxonMobil Baytown is the nation's largest
  integrated petrochemical complex and one of the most
  technologically advanced refining and petrochemical facilities
  in the world; located on 3,400 acres along the Houston Ship
  Channel, the complex has played a vital role in the economy of the
  Texas Gulf Coast for nearly a hundred years; and
 
         WHEREAS, The Lubes Expansion Project increases the
  manufacturing capacity and the caliber of the ingredients used to
  produce the company's high-quality oils and greases, resulting
  in the improved performance of heavy engine oil and lubricant
  applications; and
 
         WHEREAS, During the construction of this important new
  facility, 600 workers were employed, and no recordable injuries
  were documented over the course of 2.3 million working hours; and
 
         WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that the opening of this
  addition to the ExxonMobil Baytown complex receive special
  recognition; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
  Legislature, hereby commend ExxonMobil Baytown on its continued
  commitment to improvement in product quality and extend best
  wishes to all for a memorable ribbon-cutting ceremony for its
  Lubes Expansion Project; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the company as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
