R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The citizens of Socorro have greatly benefited from |
|
|
the dedicated leadership of Rene Rodriguez, who was elected as |
|
|
at-large representative of the city council in May 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his tenure in municipal government, |
|
|
Mr. Rodriguez has helped to ably guide the city with an eye to the |
|
|
future, and his knowledge and expertise in a wide range of community |
|
|
issues have earned him the respect of many people along the way; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts |
|
|
of Rene Rodriguez are helping to make Socorro an even better place |
|
|
in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Rene Rodriguez of the Socorro city |
|
|
council for his committed public service and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
