       Introduced  by Sen. NOZZOLIO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation
       AN ACT to amend the  environmental  conservation  law,  in  relation  to
         authorizing  hunting  in  the county of Ontario; and providing for the
         repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Paragraph  a  of  subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the
    2  environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new  item  (k)  to
    3  read as follows:
    4  (K) THE COUNTY OF        DEER, THE FIRST          PISTOL, SHOTGUN,
    5  ONTARIO                  SATURDAY AFTER NOVEMBER  MUZZLE LOADING
    6                           15 THROUGH FIRST SUNDAY  FIREARM, RIFLE
    7                           AFTER DECEMBER 7         OR LONG BOW ONLY
    8    S  2.  Item  (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
    9  the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 1  of  chapter
   10  323 of the laws of 2011, is amended to read as follows:
   11  (f) Southern tier,             Deer, first        Pistol, shotgun,
   12    central and Western          Monday after       muzzle loading
   13    region, except those         November 15        firearm or
   14    counties or portions         through first      long bow only
   15    thereof listed in            Tuesday after
   16    item (i) [or], (j),          December 7
   17    OR (K) of this paragraph
   18    S  3.  Item  (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
   19  the environmental conservation law, as separately amended by chapter 108
   20  of the laws of 1995 and chapter 600 of the laws of 2005, is  amended  to
   21  read as follows:
   22  (f) Southern tier,         Deer, first            Pistol, shotgun,

    7    S 4. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that:
    8    a.  the  amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
    9  of the environmental conservation law made by section one  of  this  act
   10  shall  be  subject  to  the  expiration  and reversion of such paragraph
   11  pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended;
   12    b. the amendments to item (f) of  paragraph  a  of  subdivision  2  of
   13  section  11-0907  of  the environmental conservation law made by section
   14  two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
   15  item and shall expire and be deemed repealed therewith, when  upon  such
   16  date the provision of section three of this act shall take effect;
   17    c.  the  amendments  to  item  (f)  of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
   18  section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law  made  by  section
   19  three  of  this  act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of
   20  such paragraph and shall expire and be deemed repealed therewith; and
   21    d. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so  as  to  extend
   22  the  provisions  of this act beyond October 1, 2015, when upon such date
   23  this act shall expire and  the  provisions  contained  herein  shall  be
   24  deemed repealed.
