AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

 

Cmte Sub for House Bill No. 1165

     AMEND by deleting lines 35-39 in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof:

"(c) Any act attempted or committed by a child which is a crime of violence pursuant to Section 97-3-2 while in possession, whether openly or concealed of any gun, rifle, pistol, or other firearm of any kind will be in the original jurisdiction of the circuit court; and (d) Any act attempted or committed by a child which would be a felony if committed by an adult while in possession, whether openly or concealed, of a stolen firearm will be in the original jurisdiction of the circuit court."
