1		SENATE RESOLUTION
2		WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3		learn of the death of Winifred "Winx" Pozorski of Oak Park, who
4		passed away on September 6, 2014; and
5		WHEREAS, Winifred Pozorski was born on July 13, 1933; she
6		attended the University of Chicago and Antioch College in
7		pursuit of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree; she was also a
8		student-at-large at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago
9		for many years; and
10		WHEREAS, Winifred Pozorski was a member of the League of
11		Women Voters of Oak Park/River Forest since 1970 and was
12		recognized with the organization's "Hazel Hanson Award" in
13		2009; and
14		WHEREAS, Winifred Pozorski enjoyed art and swimming; and
15		WHEREAS, Winifred Pozorski was preceded in death by her
16		daughter, Katherine; and
17		WHEREAS, Winifred Pozorski is survived by her husband,
18		Robert; 2 sons, Matthew and Nathaniel (Laura); 4 grandchildren,
19		Greg, Colin, Samuel, and William; and a brother, David (Libby);
20		therefore, be it

1		RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2		ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
3		family and friends, mourn the passing of Winifred "Winx"
4		Pozorski; and be it further
5		RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6		presented to the family of Winifred Pozorski as an expression
7		of our sympathy.
