AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2387 




2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2387 on page 9, 
3line 19, by replacing "(1)" with "(I) (1)"; and

4on page 9, line 23, by replacing "(2)" with "(II) (2)"; and

5on page 13, by replacing lines 14 through 20 with the 
6following:

7  "(7) Any person convicted of unlawful sale or delivery

8 of firearms in violation of paragraph (k) of subsection (A)

9 commits a Class 4 felony, except that a violation of

10 subparagraph (1) of paragraph (k) of subsection (A) shall 
11 be punishable as a Class A misdemeanor under subsection (e) 
12 of Section 14 of the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act

13 not be punishable as a crime or petty offense. A third or

14 subsequent conviction for a violation of paragraph (k) of

15 subsection (A), except a violation of subparagraph (1) of 
16 paragraph (k) of subsection (A), is a Class 1 felony.".
