       The Appropriations Committee on Agriculture, Environment, and
       General Government (Collins) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (549006) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 5 - 60
    5  and insert:
    6         Section 1. Subsection (2) of section 366.94, Florida
    7  Statutes, is amended to read:
    8         366.94 Electric vehicle charging stations.—
    9         (2) The regulation of electric vehicle charging stations is
   10  preempted to the state.
   11         (a) A local governmental entity may not enact or enforce an
   12  ordinance or regulation related to electric vehicle charging
   13  stations.
   14         (b) The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
   15  shall adopt rules to provide definitions, methods of sale,
   16  labeling requirements, and price-posting requirements for
   17  electric vehicle charging stations to allow for consistency for
   18  consumers and the industry.

   23  and insert:
   24         Consumer Services; amending s. 366.94, F.S.;
   25         preempting the regulation of electric vehicle charging

   27         entities from enacting or enforcing such regulations;
