       Senator Stargel moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (831300) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 4938 - 4955
    4  and insert:
    5  the sum of $100,000 in nonrecurring funds from the General
    6  Revenue Fund are appropriated to the Department of Education to
    7  implement this act, except as provided in this section. Of the
    8  recurring funds, $9,700,000 shall be used to fund reading
    9  scholarship accounts pursuant to s. 1002.411, Florida Statutes,
   10  $300,000 shall be provided as an administrative fee pursuant to
   11  s. 1002.411(7)(g), Florida Statutes, $2,000,000 shall be used to
   12  implement the provisions of s. 1002.40(8), Florida Statutes,
   13  $950,000 shall be used to implement the additional oversight
   14  requirements pursuant to s. 1002.421, Florida Statutes, $250,000
   15  shall be used to issue a competitive grant award pursuant to s.
   16  1002.395(9), Florida Statutes, and $550,000 shall be used for
   17  instructional materials pursuant to s. 1007.271(13), Florida
   18  Statutes. Of the nonrecurring funds, and contingent upon HB 1279
   19  or similar legislation in the 2018 regular session or an
   20  extension thereof becoming law, $100,000 shall be used to
