SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO SENATE BILL NO. 129 |
AMEND Senate Bill No. 129 by inserting before the period on line 2 thereof "except in the text of §798 thereof".
FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 129 by adding thereto the following:
"Section 3.Amend §798, Title 7, Delaware Code by designating the current text thereof as subsection (a) thereof, and by adding thereto the following:
‘(b)The coyote may only be taken by archery or firearms, whereby centerfire rifles shall not exceed .25 caliber, or by traps limited to padded leg-hold traps and cable restraints.
(c)Notwithstanding subsection (b) of this section, during any deer firearms season, it shall be unlawful to hunt coyote with any firearm that is not also legal for deer hunting.'".
SYNOPSIS
This Amendment adds restrictions on how coyote may be taken. |
