AN ACT CONCERNING THE POSSESSION OF HIGH-CAPACITY MAGAZINES BY RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 53-202w be amended to provide that a retired law enforcement officer who holds a valid Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act card may possess high-capacity magazines in the same manner as current law enforcement officers.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow retired law enforcement officers to possess high-capacity magazines.
