AN ACT CONCERNING PRESENTATION OF A CARRY PERMIT UPON REQUEST.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (b) of section 29-35 of the general statutes be amended to require individuals who are openly carrying a firearm to show their permit to law enforcement officers if asked.

Statement of Purpose:

To require the holder of a permit for the carrying of any pistol or revolver to present such permit upon request of a law enforcement officer.
