AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRIC SAVINGS AND FIXED BILL FEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to reduce, cap or eliminate electric distribution companies' residential fixed customer charge.
Statement of Purpose:
To promote and incentivize conservation of electricity and provide associated savings to ratepayers by reducing, capping or eliminating the electric distribution companies' residential fixed customer charge.
