AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING AN ASSAULT WEAPON AND DECLARING POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY MAGAZINE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 53-202d and 53-202x of the general statutes be amended to extend the deadline for registering an assault weapon and declaring possession of a large capacity magazine with the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.

Statement of Purpose:

To extend the deadline for registering an assault weapon and declaring possession of a large capacity magazine.
