AN ACT CONCERNING CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS WHO PRESCRIBE NARCOTIC DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to require each health care provider who is authorized to prescribe narcotic drugs to complete one hour of continuing education during each license registration period on the topic of controlled substances.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase education for health care providers concerning the prescription of narcotics.
