AN ACT RECOGNIZING LICENSES TO CARRY FIREARMS ISSUED BY OTHER STATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (f) of section 29-28 of the general statutes be amended to allow a nonresident to carry a pistol or revolver in this state if such person holds a valid permit or license to carry a pistol or revolver issued in another state that has substantially similar standards for age, background investigation and training as required by subsection (b) of said section.
Statement of Purpose:
To recognize permits or licenses to carry a firearm issued by other states that have substantially similar standards for carrying a firearm.
