Title: As introduced, extends the expiration date of a handgun carry permit from 4 to 5 years, permits the commissioner of safety to stagger initial January 1, 2016 renewal so that the 5 year expiration will occur on the permit holder's birthday and at same time as the person's driver license. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13.
