Subject: Corrections Impact: Crimes and Punishments: Criminal Procedure: Firearms and Weapons: Local Mandate
Description: Create a new section of KRS Chapter 237 to define terms; provide that a person shall not target shoot carelessly, recklessly, or without regard for the safety of any person, or in a manner that endangers or is likely to endanger any person, pet, livestock, wildlife, or property; provide exceptions for target shooting at a recreation facility or in an area with an earthen backstop; establish a violation as a Class A misdemeanor.
