Legislation Overview
Title: FIREARM TRAIN-COMBAT VETERANS
Description: Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act. Provides that an honorably discharged member of the active-duty or reserve component of the Armed Forces of the United States who can provide proof of serving in a combat mission is exempt from the firearm training requirements of the Act. Provides that proof of combat mission service shall come from the service member's hostile fire pay or imminent danger pay documentation. Effective immediately.
