Legislation Overview
Title: Firearms; Possession While Consuming Alcohol
Description: Prohibits the actual physical possession of any firearm while consuming alcohol outside of the home, a temporary residence, or place of sojourn. Establishes violation as a petty misdemeanor. Repeals the exemption for state and county law enforcement officers and others from prohibitions against owning or possessing firearms under section 134-7, HRS. (SD1)
