Washington state senators passed a bill, SB5078, yesterday that would outlaw the sale of any magazine that can hold more than 17 rounds. It wouldn't outlaw owning them but you would not be able to buy them. To prove you owned the magazine before the effective date you would need to have a photo of yourself and the magazine and be able to prove the photo was taken before the ban date. The bill doesn't address whether firearms that come with magazines larger than 17 rounds would also be banned but we would assume they would be. The bill now heads to the house for consideration. We implore you to contact your representatives and tell them to vote no on this bill.https://www.atg.wa.gov/news/news-releases/washington-senate-passes-legislation-ban-sale-high-capacity-magazines-historic
