HB5602 is a 'domestic terrorism' bill basically aimed at Trump supporters HB8461 would stop all suppressor exports unless they are being sold to a government HB8681 is a veiled attempt to make advertising of firearms and ammunition a crime HB8735 would demilitarize certain federal agencies HB8822 would dramatically change ATF responsibilities and would eliminate many safeguards for guns owners including the destruction of records of sales HB8929 would add all sorts of new restrictions to FBI background checks including dealers having to report to the FBI any transfer that was completed before the NICS check comes back SB4841 would allow ATF to keep firearm transfer records indefinitely SB4888 would prevent the secretary of veterans affairs from transmitting any information to the department of justice (for inclusion in the NICS system) about a vet that does not handle their own finances |

HB121 would allow ATF to hire an additional 200 agents to 'enforce gun laws' HB125 would require a 7 day waiting period before the transfer of a semi-auto firearm, a 'silencer', armor piercing ammunition or 'large capacity' magazines ... BTW, do these idiots know it takes almost a year to get a suppressor? HB127 would require a license to own a firearm and registration of all firearms HB130 would require all firearms to be locked up in homes where anyone under 18 lives HB135 would require ATF to submit a report every 6 months to the judiciary committee listing any firearm background checks that couldn't be completed in 3 business days and how many of them were then found to be prohibited persons HB137 would spend 5 hundred million dollars a year for supposed mental health initiatives that also include reporting mental health information on people that may have issues to NICS HB167 would prohibit the transfer of firearms at gun shows from or to anyone besides a licensed dealer |

HB225 would clarify that ammunition and magazines may be transported from a place where they are legal to another place where they are legal just as firearms are HB355 would require NICS to alert ICE and state and local law enforcement when an illegal alien attempts to buy a firearm SB45 would create grants to improve school safety but specifies no money can be used for firearm training |

HB194 would require ATF to report all failed background checks to the department of justice and would then require DOJ to submit a report to congress about how many prosecutions came from those failed checks HB545 would prevent members of congress from carrying guns in the capitol HB645 would set up grants for schools and specifically states none of the funds may be used for firearm training HB647 would make it illegal to sell a long gun to an out of state resident SB183 would require all federal law enforcement agencies to pool their information on anyone ever investigated for any type of so-called terrorism. The information would then be transferred to NICs and would require the attorney general to delay the transfer of any firearm to anyone on these lists for 10 days while they apply for an emergency petition from a court to stop the transfer. HB1827 would prohibit the federal government from financing any state firearm owner database HB1906 ouwl make those convicted of misdemeanor crimes against 'dating partners' and those subject to a restraining order prohibited person (it's already federal law) HB1923 would expand the definition of domestic violence and abusers to make more people prohibited HB1952 would require all firearms sold to have 'passive identification' which basically means their are bugged, it would also require the reporting of lost or stolen firearms HB1961 would set up procedures for manufacturers and dealers to appeal ATF determinations and would set time limits on how long they have to respond HB2280 would make straw purchases illegal (they already are) SB1131 would completely ban suppressors except for law enforcement SB1237 would create 'enhanced background checks' SB1261 would require ATF to notify custom and immigration when an illegal alien tries to buy a gun SB1338 would repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act SB1373 would reduce the minimum age to buy a handgun to 18 SB1775 is another NICS improvement bill, something that has already been done and was never implemented because the states wouldn't get on board ... another waste of time and money SR242 is a resolution expressing support for states to declare June 2021 as gun violence awareness month |
