New today: SB0024 exempts military personnel (active and honorably discharged) from the firing range requirement for a carry permit
HB0048 would drop the cost of a lifetime carry permit to $200 and would require one half of all carry permit fees to be donated to non-profits that financial assistance to families of slain law enforcement officers, firefighters an emergency medical personnel

New this week: HB0061 would allow firearm dealers to 'occasionally' sell firearms from their personal collection without having to do a background check
With the exception of banning firearms in schools SB0131 is an amazing bill that guts a multitude of regulations and rules regarding firearms. It includes constitutional carry, complete reciprocity with other states and strengthening preemption among other items

New last week: SB0145 would allow firearm dealers to occasionally sell firearms from their personal collection without a background check
SB0146 would prevent state or local funds to be used to enforce any federal firearm law that would violate a state law or the state constitution
SB0147 would remove the requirement to have a permit when open carrying

New this week: HB0170 would allow veterans with carry licenses to carry on college property
HB0363 would allow anyone with a handgun carry permit to carry a concealed handgun into a posted building or prohibited place operated by a state or local governmental entity unless there are metal detectors and armed security guards stationed at all public entrances
HB0367 would add people whose 'convictions have been expunged or the person has had full rights of citizenship restored under the laws of this state, another state, or federal law' to the list of exemptions for unlawful carrying of a firearm
SB0269 would regulate training required for carry licenses and would also allow 8 year permit holders to convert to a lifetime license at any time
SB0309 would stiffen sentencing for crimes committed semi-auto firearms (ignoring crime committed with other firearms)
SB0308 would take 50% of all handgun permit fees and donate them to non-profits that support the families of first responders that have lost their life in the line of duty
SB0339 would drop fines for carrying a handgun without a permit
SB0386 would allow a defense for unlawful possession of a firearm if the person was convicted of certain crimes and their rights to citizenship have been restored
HB0493 is a constitutional carry, preemption, carry on school property bill. Just loaded with good stuff
HB0506 would exempt anyone that moves to the state from classroom and firing requirements for a carry license if they have a license from the state they moved from and that state has similar requirements
HB0508 would allow anyone adversely affected by a local firearm restriction to sue and receive courts costs and damages
SB0445 would allow anyone adversely affected by a local firearm restriction to sue and receive courts costs and damages
SB0531 would exempt anyone that moves to the state from classroom and firing requirements for a carry license if they have a license from the state they moved from and that state has similar requirements
HB0561 would prevent banks and lending institutions from discriminating against firearm related businesses
HB0688 would add an exception (to unlawful carry law) for carrying in motor vehicles and boats
HB0689 would allow military forms to be used for proof of firearm training
HB0744 would make firearms and accessories tax free the first weekend of September
HB0752 would allow anyone under the protection of a court order who is not otherwise prohibited to carry a firearm without a license for up to 60 days
HB0884 would allow any valid permit holder to carry just about anywhere in the state with very limited exceptions
HB0958 would require the bureau of inspection to notify the department of health if someone who has been prohibited due to mental reasons attempt to buy a firearm.
SB0653 would allow those with carry permits to carry into buildings that are posted unless they have metal detectors and armed security guards
SB0670 would create 'Security Temporary Orders of Protection' where law enforcement can petition the court to have a person's firearm and ammunition taken
SB0671 would create an internet based 'do not sell' list where a person could add themselves and that data would be given to NICS
HB0962 would create an internet based, voluntary, do not sell database that would allow people to sign themselves up and the data would be transmitted to the NICS system
HB1006 would give civil immunity for anyone protecting them self or another by using deadly force
HB1176 would drop the penalty of carrying without a permit to a class C misdemeanor with a fine of $25
HB1221 would allow district attorney generals and others in the office to carry without a permit
HB1254 would require all law enforcement agencies to compile a year report of crimes committed with a firearm and deliver them to the state
HB1319 is a universal background check bill
HB1395 would require stolen firearms to be reported within 48 hours of when the loss is discovered or when the person 'should have known' they were stolen
HB1407 would prohibit the use of public funds or employees in enforcing any federal firearm law that would violate state law or the state constitution
SB0861 would give civil immunity for anyone protecting them self or another by using deadly force
SB0921 would repeal the provisions of law that outlaw suppressors
SB0933 would prohibit financial institutions from discriminating against firearm related businesses
SB0983 would allow anyone under the protection of a court order to carry a firearm without a license for up to 60 days as long as they aren't a prohibited person

SB1472 would ban any part that would make a semi-auto firearm shoot faster but not make the firearm a full auto weapon

HB1851 would prevent anyone discharging a firearm in self defense immune from local discharge laws HB1939 would allow county commissioners to carry, with a valid permit, in courthouse where meetings are held SB1910 would protect anyone who fires a firearm in self defense, or defense of another, or property from local firearm discharge laws SB1955 would preempt any local government from creating any law regarding firearms
