Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

HB2957 would outlaw just about every type of ammunition available today

HB235 is a universal background check bill

SB88 is a universal background check bill

SB48 would eliminate the requirement for a license to carry when open carrying during a declared state of emergency

HB271 would ban 3D printed firearms and firearm parts

HB234 would create a duplicate section of law that isn't enforced now

HB237 would require anyone living with a prohibited person to keep all firearms and ammunition locked

SB134 would create extreme risk protection orders

HB280 would get rid of the PICS system and replace it by using the federal NICS system

HB338 would make it a felony to make a false statement when filling out the forms to either buy a gun or apply for a concealed carry license

HB414 is a ghost gun bill

HB451 would require 6 hours training to get a license to carry firearms

HB393 would restrict internet ammunition sales and sales from licensed vendors

HR44 is a resolution recognizing gun violence as a public health crisis

SB226 would require training to get a license to carry

SB217 would require lost or stolen firearms to be reported to police within 24 hours of discovering it

SB219 would make gun dealers criminally liable for any crime the firearm was used in

HB364 would require state and local law enforcement to destroy confiscate and recovered firearms

HB361 would repeal current law that prohibits local government from enacting firearm laws

HB413 would limit handgun purchases to one per month

SB238 would provide funding for a gun violence study

HB357 would make federal laws that register firearms, that restrict firearms and ammunition or to limit magazine sizes unenforceable in the state

SB239 would make it a crime to possess a firearm in a public recreation area

HB699 would require all firearms to be locked up when not in use

HB717 would require anyone wanting to buy an 'assault weapon' to be 21 years old

HB702 would require background checks on all firearms sold at gun shows

HB690 would require the department of transportation to revoke the drivers license of anyone that has their license to carry revoked if the driver license has information about the carry license on it

HB698 would add a waiting period for the transfer of 'assault weapons'

HB737 would make it illegal to carry a firearm in a polling place or in the parking lot of a polling place

HB770 is an 'assault weapon' and 'large capacity magazine (anything that holds more than 10 rounds)' ban bill

HB785 would require firearms be locked up in homes with minor children

HB946 would allow sheriffs to waive the fee for a carry license for honorably discharged vets and those over 65

HB872 would require a state issued 'firearm safety certificate' before buying a firearm

SB414 would add the term frame or receiver to section 6102 and would include 80% receivers

HB917 is a 'ghost gun' bill

SB429 would require all firearms to be registered with the state and would allow state police to keep a database of registered firearms

HB921 would strengthen self defense law by broadening when force is justified to be used

HB924 would remove the character clause and references from concealed carry permits and would prohibit the attorney general from unilaterally pulling out of reciprocity agreements

SB413 would make it illegal to use a 3D printer to create a firearm or firearm part

SB448 would allow anyone adversely affected by an preempted local firearm law to sue

HB869 would prohibit carrying firearms at public demonstrations and would prohibit having a firearm in your vehicle less that 1,000 feet from a public demonstration

HB980 is a lost or stolen bill

HB979 is a 'preemption with teeth' bill that allows individuals harmed by illegal local gun laws to sue and recover damages

HB981 would outlaw 'accelerated trigger activators'

SB489 would make it a crime to lie on a firearm form (it already is)

HB1019 would require sentences to run consecutively for crimes committed with a firearm

SB546 would add the duty to retreat back into self-defense law

HB1007 would require the state police to post an estimated time to get PICS back up and running and if they are down more than 48 hours dealers may complete transactions without a PICS check if the person has a license to carry firearms

SB490 would make those on the federal terrorist watch list prohibited persons

SB497 would further restrict carrying firearms in Philadelphia

HB1077 would create a voluntary self-exclusion list for purchasing firearms

SB565 is a constitutional carry bill

HB1211 would create firearm restraining orders

HB1090 would remove the requirement for court facilities to have lock boxes for firearms essentially eliminating the ability to carry to (and into) a court building

SB670 would waste more tax dollars to create the Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Grant Program

SB598 would repeal the states preemption of firearm laws

SB581 would require firearms to be locked up when not in use

SB582 would require anyone that lives with a prohibited person to keep their firearms locked up

SB624 would nullify federal firearm executive orders and laws in the state

HB1306 would put a 72 hour waiting period on gun sales

HB1564 would make things like conspiracy or criminal attempt reasons to make someone a prohibited person

HB1696 would invalidate unconstitutional federal firearm laws within the commonwealth

SB761 would increase the time before a firearm sale can go through without a completed background check to 72 hours

HB1575 would make firearms and ammunition sales tax free

HB1708 would redefine law regarding a student bringing a weapon to school

SB748 would prohibit the state from any investments in 'assault weapon manufacturers'

SB816 would create a voluntary do not sell list for firearms that would be maintained by the state police

HB1751 would require official identification to buy ammunition

HB1786 would require all ammunition sold in the state to be 'encoded' and would require anyone who has 'unencoded' ammo to dispose of it. It would then require all ammo sales to be registered
