This thread will be updated on a regular basis when new bills come in for Hawaii.

Note: We will only post legislation we feel is negative or positive, those new bills which don't actually effect your rights will not be included but you can always find them on the state legislation page.

HB1205 would protect shooting ranges from noise & noise 'pollution' complaints

SCR9 is a resolution opposing national reciprocity

HB1176 would require anyone bringing a firearm into the state to register it within 5 days

HB1589 would allow hunting with suppressors

SB1036 would require anyone bringing a firearm into the state to register it within 5 days

SB898 would allow judges to issue search and seizure warrants for firearms is they are found to be a risk to themselves or public safety

SB2066 would raise the legal magazine capacity to 17 rounds

SB212 would make the state a shall issue state

SB213  would raise the legal magazine capacity to 17 rounds

SB2406 would outlaw bump stocks and other such devices

SB280 would make anyone who has received addiction treatment or been diagnosed with a mental disorder a prohibited person

HB2437 would give those who legally use medical marijuana the right to own firearms (even though federal law still prohibits it)

SB2436 would make anyone who becomes a prohibited person hours to surrender their firearms and ammunition

HB2228 would require anyone that becomes a prohibited person 24 hours to surrender their firearms and ammunition

HB1908 would outlaw 'multi-burst trigger activators'

SB2067 would make the state a shall issue state

SB2265 would make firearm registrations expire every 5 years and would also outlaw bump stocks

SB2378 would make firearm purchase licenses valid for one year

SB2046 would outlaw bump stocks and other trigger modification devices

HB1032 would allow judges to issue search and seizure warrants for firearms is they are found to be a risk to themselves or public safety

HB36 would make the state a shall issue state

HB1345 would make anyone who has received addiction treatment or been diagnosed with a mental disorder a prohibited person

SB9 would require anyone that owns firearms to buy insurance coverage

HB802 would require all FFLs to report firearm purchase denials to local police with descriptions etc

HB1583 would create gun violence protective order very similar to California law

HB410 would make the state a shall issue state
